Singhvi back as Congress spokesperson
Abhishek Manu Singhvi, who had resigned as Congress spokesperson after his name surfaced in a CD row in April, was brought back on Friday to put across the party's view in TV debates, said party sources.
"Singhvi has been brought back into the panel. He will take part in TV debates," said a Congress leader who did not want to be named. Singhvi had resigned as Congress spokesperson and chairman of Parliament's Standing Committee on Personnel, Public Grievances and Law and Justice following circulation of a sleazy video, allegedly involving him, on the internet.
Later, his name was dropped from the official list of party spokespersons.
