Salman is not given a UK visa

Days after a Mumbai sessions court framed charges against actor Salman Khan in a hit-and-run case, the Bollywood star suffered another setback Friday with the UK government rejecting his visa application.

This will delay the shooting of his forthcoming film Kick. Khan was due to join its cast and crew in Glasgow. Its producers will now reapply for a visa.
While the UK authorities gave no reason for the denial, it is speculated this was due to his alleged involvement in hit-and-run and poaching cases.
