Salman gets UK visa in 2nd attempt
Actor Salman Khan, who was scheduled to shoot in the UK for his upcoming film Kick, has got UK visa on second try. The film was held up as Khan’s UK visa was allegedly rejected. The actor was denied a visa by the British authorities last week and no reason was given for it.
According to reports, Khan would be leaving for London in a week’s time.
Few days after the Mumbai sessions court framed charges against Khan in the infamous hit-and-run case, the Bollywood star was denied the visa. While the rest of the crew had already begun shooting in Glasgow, Salman was held up.
However, sources said that the star has finally managed to procure all the right papers and visa. “He will by flying to London in week’s time,” the source said.
While it was being speculated that the visa denial was the consequence of Salman’s involvement in the 2002 hit-and-run case, but none of the reasons have been confirmed officially.
