RSS to Modi: Keep LK, others happy
The RSS has advised Gujarat chief minister and BJP campaign committee head Narendra Modi to keep party veteran L.K. Advani in good humour and to build bridges with his detractors within the Sangh Parivar, including with the VHP’s Pravin Togadiya and senior BJP leader Sushma Swaraj.
While the RSS is strengthening its grip over BJP affairs and overseeing its poll preparations, it wants Mr Modi, considered the top contender to be the party’s prime ministerial candidate, to patch up with his detractors. The RSS wants all Parivar affiliates to coordinate in getting the saffron party to power. The RSS wants the entire Sangh Parivar to stand united to bring the saffron party back to power.
