Roy son bail plea rejected

The Barrackpore court on Monday rejected the bail plea of Trinamul Congress candidate from Bijpur Subhrangshu Roy and remanded him in jail custody for a day. The accused will be produced at the court on Tuesday again.

On Monday morning, he was brought to the Barrackpore police station from Naihati police station under tight security. At around 1.30 pm, Mr Roy was produced before additional chief judicial magistrate (ACJM) R.B. Adhikary.
