Rahul to partymen: attack maya, mulayam

Congress MP Rahul Gandhi on Saturday wrapped up his five-day tour of UP and firmly set the agenda for the party’s poll campaign for the upcoming state Assembly elections.

His message for Congressmen in UP is to attack both the BSP and SP and present the Congress as the only violable alternative in the polls. Addressing a rally in Kushinagar on Saturday, Mr Gandhi took his criticism of the Mayawati government to another level when he said, ”Mayawati has created an elephant with magic. Normally elephants eat grass but Mayawati’s elephant in Lucknow eats money. This is not money that belongs to Lucknow or Delhi — it is the money that belongs to you, to farmers and labourers.”
