Raghavji sacked from the party
Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh BJP president Narendra Singh Tomar on Sunday passed a oneline order expelling from the party tainted leader Raghavji, who had to quit as state finance minister on Friday after he was accused of sexually exploiting his male servants.
On Sunday, the Habib-ganj police station here also registered an FIR against Raghavji under sections 377 and 506 of IPC. While section 377 covers sodomy, 506 relates to threatening someone with dire consequences.
His expulsion from the BJP and the filing of FIR against him is being viewed as a face-saving mechanism by the ruling side ahead of the Mons-oon Session of the State Assembly starting on Monday.
