Raghavendra H. Auradkar back as Bengaluru police chief

Bengaluru: The government has brought back 1987 batch IPS officer Raghavendra H. Auradkar as Bengaluru city police commissioner, while transferring the incumbent Jyothiprakash Mirji as principal secretary to the government, home department.

Bengaluru Additional Commissioner of Police, Traffic and Security, Dr M Abdulla Saleem, has been posted as Mysore police commissioner. B. Dayanand, who was serving at CID (Economic Offences), has been posted in place of Saleem.

Bipin Gopal Krishna, who was serving as Additional Director General of Police (law and order), has been promoted as Director General of Police (DGP), Criminal Investigation Department (CID).
