Punjab police to pursue ‘terrorists’ in UK
The Punjab police investigators are preparing to fly out to Britain to question suspects believed to have carried out the assassination of Rulda Singh, who was president of the Rashtriya Sikh Sangat, a Sikh outfit affiliated to the Hindu Rashtriya Swayam Sewak Sangh.
Rulda Singh was gunned down outside his Patiala home by “unidentified” assailants in July 2009. he succumbed to his injuries after 18 days in an intensive care facility at Chandigarh’s PGIMER hospital.
Subsequent investigations indicated the involvement of four young British-Indians, who managed to escape abroad shortly after the killing.
