Police seek DNA samples of Uttarakhand flood victims' relatives
Hyderabad: The Director General of Police of Uttarakhand, in a letter, has appealed for samples of DNA of the relatives of missing persons in the Uttarakhand floods, so that they can be identified.
The massive floods in Uttarakhand on the 16th and 17th June this year have claimed the lives of many pilgrims including those from Andhra Pradesh. Since then, many persons from various parts of the country are missing.
In this connection, people whose relatives are missing and who wish to give their DNA sample, may contact Dr. N.K. Misara at DUNE Hospital, Dehradun, Uttarakhand (Ph.941117128) for identification of unidentified bodies. This will help the Hospital Authorities to locate the missing persons.
