PM snubs Jaipal, Gill on delay

New Delhi, Sept. 24: Unhappy with the delay and the last-minute rush to the Delhi Commonwealth Games (CWG), the Prime Minister, Dr Manmohan Singh, on Friday came down heavily on the sports minister, Mr M.S. Gill, and the urban development minister, Mr Jaipal Reddy, asking them to “get the job done”.

The PM pulled up the ministers when Mr Gill wanted to make a presentation on the status of CWG preparations and Mr Reddy pointed at the Organising Committee for the current mess.
