Paswan supports PC’s ‘saffron remark’

The Union home minister P. Chidambaram on Monday found support for his remark on “saffron terror” from the LJP chief Ram Vilas Paswan, who however, criticised the Congress for not backing the minister.
While Mr Paswan accused the Congress of “shielding saffron organisations”, the LJP told reporters that “Mr Chidambaram is correct in his assessment”.
“He is not simply an individual but also the Home Minister of the country. If he has given any statement, he must have done it with full responsibility. The Congress is unnecessarily trying to bring down his morale,” stated Mr Paswan, while addressing a press conference in the capital.
The LJP chief had maintained the same line on the issue even in the Rajya Sabha last week. Clearly making all attempts to reach out to the Muslim vote base in the upcoming Bihar state elections, Mr Paswan also hit out at the Gujrat chief minister Narendra Modi. “Modi should be arrested. Only then the victims and officials will come out fearlessly and state the truth,” stated Mr Paswan, while referring to the ongoing investigation in the Sohrabuddin murder case.
Mr Paswan went on to say that “the actions of the central government in terrorist cases show that it is not as tough towards saffron terrorism as it is towards terrorism cases involving Muslims”.
“RSS is the origin of saffron terrorism. It is a transmitter and VHP, Bajrang Dal, Abhinav Bharat, Ram Sene and others are its different channels,” charged the LJP chief, who added that “the investigations by the CBI and other agencies have proved that they have a hand in spreading terrorism”.
“There should be a ban on RSS, Bajrang Dal and VHP on the basis of these proofs. Despite all this the police have not carried out any raid at any RSS office in the country,” stated Mr Paswan.

I want to begin with a little story that was told to me by a leading executive at Aptech. He was exercising in a gym with a lot of younger people.
