Parliamentary secy kin kills self in Jaipur
The brother of parliamentary secretary Dili Choudhary ended his life on Sunday in Jaipur by shooting himself at his sister Kanta Choudhary’s residence in the city. The police found a suicide note from the site of the incident and it stated that deceased Mahesh Choudhary killed himself due to prolonged illness. According the police, the elder brother of the parliamentary secretary came to Jaipur on Saturday evening and was staying with his sister Kanta in Jaipur.The family members said Mahesh was normal and he told his sister that he was going to bathroom for a bath. but he did not come out for quite some long time.

CPM: Stop biometric enrolment

June 19: The CPI(M) has urged the government to immediately stop the biometric enrolment of all citizens for the database of the National Population Register maintaining that the procedure needs various checks and balances like legal safeguards against misuse and the delinking of social welfare schemes from this exercise, such as access to PDS and MNREGA. Stating that the office of the Director of Citizen Registration/Director of Census Operations has initiated the, the party dema-nded that the Centre should immediately stop it.

UP: Uma sticks to Hindutva

June 19: Senior BJP leader Uma Bharti has said that there was no question of compromise on the issue of Ram and Hindutva.
“Jo Ram ka nahin, woh kaam ka nahin,” she announced on her first visit to Lucknow after her re-induction into the BJP.
Ms Bharti, who arrived here on Saturday evening to a tepid welcome, said that she would take to the streets against the misrule of chief minister Mayawati. “Crime against women is unpardonable and we will take to the streets for sisters who have been at the receiving end,” she said.

SP legislator arrested for misbehaviour

June 19: Irfan Solanki, Samajwadi Party MLA from Kanpur along with one of his associates, was arrested on Sunday for allegedly misbehaving with a woman IAS officer of the state power department.
The SP MLA and his associates had gone to the office of Kanpur Electricity Supply Company (KESCO) MD, Ritu Maheshwari, on June 15 with some complaints. When the security guards did not allow them inside, they barged in and allegedly misbehaved with the officer. District magistrate Hari Om had to intervene and the matter was put to rest following an “apology” from the legislator.
