Orissa gov asked to dismiss govt

Senior leaders of the Orissa Congress on Saturday met governor S.C. Jamir and submitted a memorandum seeking dismissal of the Naveen Patnaik government for deterioration of law and order in the state.

In the memorandum, the party alleged that the overall situation of crime incidence, reporting, registration and conviction presented the dismal picture of the BJD government.
