Now, Nitish is a ‘faltu’ for Sharad
Patna, Oct. 26: After his tirade against the Congress general secretary, Mr Rahul Gandhi, the JD(U) president, Mr Sharad Yadav, on Tuesday courted fresh controversy by dubbing his senior party colleague and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar as ‘faltu’ (useless).
“Ye dono Lalu aur Nitish vikas, vikas ki baat karte hain.. Lalu.... Nitish faltu hai (Lalu and Nitish keep talking about development... Both Lalu and Nitish are useless),” Mr Yadav told an election meeting.
He also called the Congress “a faltu party.” Mr Yadav's remarks came barely 36 hours after he said that Mr Gandhi should be thrown into the river Ganga.
The court of the chief judicial magistrate in Muzaffarpur admitted a complaint filed by local Congress leader, Mr Umashankar Singh, under Sections 153, 292 and 506 of the IPC against Mr Yadav for his comments on Mr Gandhi.
Meanwhile, Rs 2.4 lakh and 79 bottles of country liquor were seized from the supporters of Mr Lalu Prasad Yadav’s estranged brother-in-law and Congress candidate, Mr Sadhu Yadav in Gopalganj on Tuesday.
