Nine Karnataka ministers withdraw resignations

Nine Karnataka ministers on Monday decided to withdraw their resignations, said Yeddyurappa loyalist minister Jagadish Shettar.

BSY loyalists said their decision has the full backing of Yeddyurappa. Further, they said they have not issued any deadline for the BJP high-command over the change of Chief Minister as they wanted an early end to the crisis.

''We have withdrawn resignation to give a free hand and create a congenial atmosphere to resolve the crisis,'' said another minister and Yeddy loyalist Basavaraj Bommai.

According to sources, the party high-command assured the Yeddy faction that the crisis over the issue of Chief Minister's post would be resolved soon.
