Newborn girl abandoned in Jaipur

A newborn baby girl was found near the tracks of a railway station in Jaipur.

The premature baby was found lying near the tracks at Jagatpura by the people on Friday after the Agra-Ajmer train left the station.

The abandoned child was later rushed to state run Sawai Man Singh Hospital.rem Chand Kumar, Station House Officer (SHO), said that the newborn baby is unhurt.

"We got a very brief message that a baby was found here and ambulance has taken infant to the hospital. We got to know around 11 am. She is a new born and is unhurt," he said.

S.K. Sharma, one of the doctors attending to the girl child, said the baby was brought in a very critical condition and that there were very bleak chances of her survival.

"Baby was brought here in very critical condition and her heart was occasionally pumping. She was also having problems in breathing and we could make out that she was a premature delivery. She was immediately taken into Intensive Care Unit and was restated," said Sharma.
