Bhubaneshwar: Maoists today released Prabitra Majhi, the junior engineer who was abducted along with Malkangiri district collector R. V. Krishna at Jaanavai village.

Krishna is yet to be released.

Naxals had earlier said that both officils would be relased within 48 hours.

R.V. Krishna and junior engineer Pabitra Majhi, were abducted from Chitrakonda area of Malkangiri district on February 16.
