Naidu sleepless over Andhra Pradesh

Hyderabad: Refusing to reveal whether he is an integrationist or a separatist, TD chief N. Chandrababu Naidu on Sunday disclosed that he has been  spending sleepless nights over the current crisis in the state after the Centre’s decision to bifurcate the state without addressing the genuine concerns of other regions.
While continuing his parleys for the second day in New Delhi with CPI veteran A.B. Bardhan and JD (U) leader Sharad Yadav, Chandrababu Naidu refused to be drawn into discussing the Telangana issue. “I am very concerned about all regions of the state,” said Naidu while talking to the media.
He blamed the Congress party for the present turmoil in the state, saying, “The Congress has created the crisis for  political gain  without a thought for people's issues and their  problems," Naidu said.
Denying his meetings with various  leaders in Delhi with a political agenda, he said, “My meetings  are only to explain the situation in state and nothing else. But TD will play a key role in  the 2014 elections in national politics," he said.
Meanwhile, few activists barged into the  media  conference demanding a united AP and   Naidu's support for the United AP movement. TD leaders,  however, pacified the agitators and got them to leave the room.

The social media space is finally witnessing some tirade from political leaders of the state. TD chief, N.  Chandrababu Naidu, accused the Telangana Rashtra Samiti and the YSR Congress of being hand-in-glove with the Congress. TRS MLA K.  Taraka Rama Rao hasn’t made any direct accusations, but had re-tweeted several comments made by others against Naidu.
On his newly opened Twitter account, Naidu tweeted that the Congress is destroying Telugu people. “Uncertainty in AP, clarity in INC. Diesel for car (TRS) & current for fan (YCP), provided by INC. INC destroying the lives of Telugu people!” he tweeted.
Naidu’s son Nara Lokesh tweeted on Sunday that wives of YSRC leaders, joining wives of Congress leaders, only proves what his father had stated. He also tweeted that the YSRC and the TRS leaders were visiting Delhi for bail and mergers. “While YCP & TRS visit Delhi for bail & mergers, our leader will ask the President to intervene & find a solution for the plight of Telugus,” he posted.
The K. Taraka Rama Rao’s Twitter account, states that re-tweets are not endorsements. When asked about Congress MP Vundavalli Arun Kumar’s challenge to him to debate on ‘T,’ he said he was open to it.
Naidu also tweeted that he met the BJP president Rajnath Singh and CPM general secretary, Prakash Karat, and urged them to act on the acerbity among Telugu people.
On Sunday, he touched upon a different note and tweeted, “Annually 200,000 engineering grads enter the job market in AP. What’s the Government’s plan on securing their future? Is the Government even thinking about it?”
