N-capable Prithvi II test-fired
India on Friday successfully test-fired nuclear-capable, short-range ballistic missile, Prithvi-II.
The surface-to-surface missile was fired from Launch Complex III at Chandipur in Balasore district, nearly 300 km from here.
Prithvi-II happens to be India’s first domestically produced ballistic missile, with a range of 350 km and payload capacity of 500 kg.
