Mystery over Sri Sri firing: Was it over ashram row?

A day after the firing at the convoy of Art of Living founder Sri Sri Ravishankar, several theories are circulating over the reason. Initial reports, which even Union home minister P. Chidambaram referred to in New Delhi, hinted at a dispute among ashram inmates.
The spiritual guru on Monday held two press conferences and strongly ruled out the possibility of such a dispute. His close followers at the ashram even suspected a “terror attack”.
Ravishankar maintains that he has no enemies. But his rehabilitation programmes in terror-hit Jammu and Kashmir and Maoist-affected areas such as Jharkhand and Bihar could have earned him enemies, some sources say

After Mr Shibu Soren’s late-night resignation as Jharkhand chief minister Sunday, political activity in the state intensified on Monday but there was no indication amid a flurry of meetings that an alternative government could be formed in the chaos.
