Music director Bombay Ravi passes away
Renowned music director Bombay Ravi passed away in Mumbai on Thursday.
The 86-year-old music director was admitted to a hospital in Mumbai in a critical condition following two heart attacks.
He was very popular among Malayalees because of the amazing musical compositions that he had created for several films including Oru Vadakkan Veeragatha, Sargam, Mayookham, Panchagni, Nakhakshathangal, Vaishali, Parinayam, Sukrutham, Patheyam and many other films.
The legendary music director had several hit songs to his credit from Hindi movies like Waqt, Neel Kamal, Phool Aur Patthar, Humraaz, Nikaah, Do Badan, Aankhen, Chaudvhin Ka Chand and Gumraah. He had won the FilmFare awards for Gharana and Khandaan.
Several prominent personalities from the Malayalam film industry and cultural leaders have condoled the death of Bombay Ravi.
