Mulayam word final on joining UPA: Akhilesh
UP chief minister Akhilesh Yadav said on Sunday that any decision on the Samajwadi Party joining the UPA government at the Centre would be taken by his father, party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav.
“The party president is going to Delhi and will take the final decision on joining the UPA,” the CM told reporters when asked about a Congress statement that the SP could join the UPA government.
The chief minister said: “Our party had given support to the UPA government. Whether we should join the government or not is something that ‘Netaji’ (Mulayam Singh Yadav) will decide.”

Rawat sulking,crisis simmers in Uttarakhand
New Delhi/Dehra Dun, March 18: The crisis in the Uttarakhand Congress refused to die down Sunday with sulking Union minister Harish Rawat saying he hadn’t got any “concrete” proposals from the leadership to end the stalemate.
“No such concrete proposals have come to compensate me,” Mr Rawat told reporters in New Delhi. He said he had no intention of destabilising the Vijay Bahuguna government.
