MNS workers request MLAs not to go overseas
Maharashtra Navnirman Sena workers today requested the MLAs from Buldhana and Vidharba not to undertake overseas study tours, and instead spend the money on the villages hit by water scarcity in the state.
MNS workers led by Vinod Wagh, member of the Buldhana Zilla Parishad and district unit president, met the MLAs at the Manora MLAs guest-house here.
"Nothing fruitful takes place in these study tours. They simply go there to have a good time," Wagh said while talking to reporters.
Yesterday, MNS chief Raj Thackeray had said that MLAs and ministers should not go abroad when the state was reeling under drought, and those doing so should not be allowed to enter their districts.
"If they don't follow the diktat we will tell them in MNS style," Wagh said.
