UP minister injured in explosion

The Uttar Pradesh minister, Mr Nand Gopal Gupta, "Nandi" was on Monday injured in an explosion inside his residential premises here, police said. The driver and the personal security officer of 36-year-old Gupta, who is the minister for institutional finance, stamp and judicial tax, suffered serious injures, they said. Further details were awaited.
