MIM leaders to hit the road
Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen president Asaduddin Owaisi and other party leaders plan to hit the road on a state-wide mission from November 25 to expose the “misdeeds of the Kiran Kumar Reddy-led Congress government and its communal and anti-secular stance”.
Owaisi ruled out a rethink over withdrawal of support to the Kiran Kumar Reddy-led Congress government in the state and Congress-led UPA government at the Centre.
“We have taken a decision. There is no change in our stand. Yes, we did get calls for talks over tea but we are disinclined to change our stance. The government is in shambles and I cannot change its colours,” he remarked.
When asked whether his grouse was against Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy or the Congress party, his reply was a terse, “Both”.
