Militant hideout unearthed in Doda

Security forces have unearthed a militant hideout in Doda district and found a cache of arms and 25 kgs of explosive powder from it, the police said on Tuesday.

Acting on a tip off, 8 Rashtriya Rifle and the police launched search operation in the Qulian area in Bhaderwah tehsil of the district and unearthed the hideout on Monday night.

A Chinese pistol, one magazine, 10 rounds of AK rifle, one grenade, one detonator, an IED and 25 kgs of explosive powder were found from it, they said.
