Maoists blew up a culvert on a road in Orissa's Koraput district to obstruct movement of security personnel, police sources said on Monday.

The rebels targeted the culvert on the road connecting Narayanpatna and Podapadar late last night by planting an which exploded, they said.

None was hurt, they said.

"The explosion was of low intensity and a portion of the culvert was damaged," SDPO, Laxmipur, Y J Rao said.

The Maoists blew up the culvert apparently to obstruct movement of BSF personnel camping nearby at Podarpadar, they said.
