UP mantri in trouble

Yet another Mayawati minister has landed in Lokayukta trouble. This time, it is Avadh Pal Singh Yadav, minister for animal husbandry and dairy development, who is facing serious charges of corruption and murder. The Lokayukta has asked the minister to furnish his reply by August 10. Earlier, three ministers have been indicted by the Lokayukta and one of them lost his job.

In an inquiry pending against him, the Lokayukta has found Mr Avadh Pal Singh Yadav prima facie guilty of misusing his position for his vested interests by indulging in corruption and irregularities.
