Man receives morphed pics of fiancee

A Girgaum-based businessman has approached the D.B. Marg police and complained that two of his neighbours allegedly sent him nude photographs of his fiancée through courier and email to extort money from him. The FIR in the case was lodged on Friday.

He claimed that the accused had morphed his fiancé’s face on a picture of another nude woman and threatened to defame him and her if he did not pay them `50 lakh. The accused also threatened to harm the complainant’s Japan-based relative. The police then initiated a probe in the matter.
The complainant in the case is a resident of a plush tower located in the Girgaum area. “In his complaint to the police, he has stated that he recently received a courier at his house containing nude photographs of his fiancé. The also received the same pictures through an email and the sender threatened him to defame him and his fiancé by making the pictures public. For not doing so, the accused allegedly demanded `50 lakh from the complainant,” said an officer.
