Man kills two-year-old daughter

A middle-aged man has been arrested for allegedly killing his two-year-old daughter here, police said on Saturday.

The accused, identified only as Sunil, is a resident of Ambernath.

He was annoyed with his daughter's behaviour, they said.

The girl refused to come to him whenever he called her and this would often anger Sunil, police said.

Same thing happened on Friday evening and the man, in a fit of rage, picked up the child and flung her to the wall, leading to her death, they added.

Sunil was arrested and booked for murder.
