Major fire at Pune mall

A major fire broke out in a shopping mall at posh Koregaon Park area of the city on Thursday evening and a few persons are feared trapped inside the premises, fire brigade sources said.

Ten fire tenders have been rushed to the spot where the ‘Koregaon Park (KP) Mall’ is located, they said.

According to initial reports, the blaze was reported at around 1800 hrs and the fire-fighting operation was in progress, officials said.

About six persons were feared trapped inside the mall and were being rescued, they added.
