Madani taken to Hosathota for investigation
People's Democratic Party leader Abdul Nasser Madani, one of the accused in 2008 bomb serial blasts, was taken to Hosathota in Somwarpet Taluk in Kodagu district for further investigation on Saturday, a top police official said.
"Madani has been taken to Hosathota in Somwarpet taluk in Kodagu district for further investigation since the conspiracy for the serial blasts was hatched here," joint commissioner of crime Alok Kumar told PTI.
Madani was being interrogated in the Madiwala police station after being brought to Bengaluru from Kerala where he was arrested on August 17.
The Karnataka high court had on August 18 reserved its orders on a criminal petition filed by Madani praying for quashing of chargesheet filed against him by the police in connection with the blasts.
