LK is ‘not happy with K’taka CM’
BJP stalwart L.K. Advani indirectly criticised Karnataka chief minister B.S. Yeddyurappa while commending the performance of other BJP or National Democratic Alliance-ruled states.
“I am not happy with what is happening in Karnataka. I have told the party and him (Yeddyurappa). The party is taking corrective steps there”, Mr Advani said while reacting to questions from media persons about the complaints of corruption that the BJP government in Karnataka was facing. He said he felt happy as everyone going to the NDA-ruled states in the country returned with a feeling that the performances of those governments were good and exemplary. However, he did not elaborate on the corrective measures being taken.
He said he had asked his party men to support it.Mr Advani noted that the when his party was adamant on a probe by Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) on 2G spectrum allocation, Commonwealth Games and Adarsh Housing scam, the Prime Minister, finance minister and even the home minister went all out defending the tainted persons.
He took a dig at Dr Manmohan Singh for citing “coalition compulsions”.
