Following are the demands Maoists are making for the release of district collector R.V. Krishna and engineer Majhi:

Halting of anti-Maoist operations in the East.

Release of all Maoists arrested, over 700.

Compensation for families of Maoist sympathisers killed in police custody.

All political prisoners be freed, they demand.

Nulling of all agreements the government has signed with MNCs be scrapped.

Demanding letter in Telugu was distributed to media.

Maoists have given a 48-hour deadline.
