Lesbian girl threatens suicide

An alleged lesbian girl on Monday threatened to commit suicide by setting herself ablaze after she failed to meet her partner.

Nassem Buddhiya, 26, who is allegedly having a homosexual relationship with 25-year-old Kajal, staged a sit-in near civil hospital chowk here and moved a local court seeking custody of her partner, police said.

The court ordered police to produce the girl, but they failed to do so.

Naseem claimed that she and Kajal had been together for last seven years.

When Kajal's family came to know about their relation they abducted her, she alleged and expressed fear that her friend might be killed.

Naseem, who is sitting on fast-unto-death, threatned that she would end her life if she failed to meet Kajal in next couple of days.
