Kiran Kumar Reddy finds good support online
Hyderabad: While Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy has been criticised for raising apprehensions about the bifurcation of the state, he has found some support online.
Several people on social networking platforms and elsewhere appreciated the Chief Minister for being rational on the issue.
People expressed their support for Kiran Kumar Reddy on social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter and other online discussion forums. A netizen named Anil, commented, “Finally a wise and responsible Chief Minister who figured out that cutting a state is not as easy as cutting a ribbon.”
Surinder Sharma, another social media user, said, “N. Kiran Kumar must rise above his self imposed inhibitions to confront head on and address the adverse implications of the division of Andhra Pradesh.”
Another Facebook user Jyothirmayee Bose hailed the Chief Minister saying, “Hats off to CM. He proved that the post is not the most important.”
However, he drew flak from people opposing the bifurcation of the state for his nine-day long silence.
Facebooker K. Rajesh Babu asked why Kiran Kumar Reddy had to wait for nine days to come out with his version. At a press conference held on Thursday night, the CM had said that the bifurcation could result in water and power sharing problems. Supporters of Telangana, however, flayed his comments.
