New Zealand Prime Minister John Key shakes hands with Congress president Sonia Gandhi in New Delhi on Tuesday. New Zealand will appoint a defence adviser to India to better facilitate defence linkages, a joint statement issued towards the end of the talks said. The two sides signed a protocol for cooperation on science and innovation and an agreement on audio-visual co-production and agreed on a new education cooperation initiative which will be jointly funded.
