Kerala mishap: School bus carrying 30 children plunges into canal

A school bus carrying 30 children from a school in Kerala plunged into a canal around 4pm today.

The students, belonging the St. Andrews Jyoti Nilayam school, fell into the Parvathyputhanar near Channankara, Kadinamkulam, near state capital Trivandrum.

Reports claim most of the children are safe with locals joining emergency crews in the rescue. Another report said four units for fire fighting personnel have been deployed at the site.
