Karunanidhi taken to hospital for urinary tract infection

DMK chief and former Tamil Nadu chief minister, M. Karunanidhi, was on Monday taken to a private hospital here and examined by doctors for urinary tract infection, hospital sources said.

The 88-year-old leader was taken for ‘routine check-up’, DMK sources said without elaborating.

However, hospital sources said Karunanidhi had come for check up relating to urinary tract infection.
