Jaipur CJM orders FIR for Raajneeti

Jaipur’s chief judicial magistrate Thursday directed the police to file an FIR against some BJP leaders and the managers of a resort for screening a pirated DVD of Prakash Jha’s Raajneeti for BJP MLAs on Tuesday.
Acting on a complaint by local resident Yougendra Singh that BJP chief whip Rajendra Rathore and the resort managers had knowingly violated the Copyright Act by organising the show, the court directed the police to investigate the matter.
Mr Singh’s lawyer A.K. Jain said if more MLAs were found involved, action would be sought against them too.
