Indore: Police officer accused of shooting obscene MMS sacked
Ramkishore Shivhare, the police sub-inspector accused of abducting two girls and shooting obscene MMS clippings, had been dismissed from the service with immediate effect under article 311 of the Constitution, a senior officer said here.
The order was served to Shivhare on Sunday at the district jail where he is lodged, said senior superintendent of police, Sai Manohar.
Shivhare was earlier posted at Chandannagar police station here.
"We are convinced of the case (against him)....His continuance in service is not desirable and is having harmful effects on the police department. To restore the public's faith in police, the disciplinary action was taken," Manohar told the media.
Shivhare was arrested and suspended last week for the alleged abduction and shooting of obscene mms of two girls here.
One of the victims was a relative of an MLA.
There have been reports that he had committed similar offences in the past too.
