Indian falls to death from Ajman skyscraper
A 40-year-old Indian, working as a construction worker in Ajman, died after falling from the fifth floor of a 28-storey building.
The man - identified as Harminder Singh - was working on the fifth floor when he lost his balance and fell Monday, the Gulf News reported.
The building under construction is a residential and commercial tower in Al Sawan area of Ajman.
An official said Singh had rejoined after a break of a couple of months.
Ajman, one of the seven emirates of the UAE, has a population of over 260,000, of which a considerable number are Indians.
