India to get access to Sarabjit: Rehman Malik
Pakistan Interior Minister Rehman Malik has said orders have been issued to allow Indian High Commission officials immediate access to Indian prisoner Sarabjit Singh.
Forty nine-year-old Sarabjit, who has spent 21 years on death row, is currently being held at Lahore's Kot Lakhpat Jail.
Sarabjit, who was condemned to death for his involvement in a string of bombings in Punjab in 1990, has been languishing in Pakistani jails for two decades, reports The Nation.
Malik said the measure was taken to create a conducive environment, as Indian Foreign Minister SM Krishna is to visit Pakistan , adding that he was expecting positive results from the FM's visit.
