Ilavarasan suicide note found
Dharmapuri: In a major breakthrough on Thursday, the special investigation team recovered a suicide note four days after the death of Illavarasan.
According to the police, the 4-page suicide note in Tamil was addressed to his father Elangovan, mother Krishnaveni and wife Divya. His suicide note proclaimed that none is responsible for his death.
The special team, led by V. Sampath, DSP, recovered the letter from a relative of Illavarasan whose identity police failed to disclose. The relative picked the letter from Illavarasan's trouser pocket before railway staff could reach the place where Illavarasan was found dead on Thursday.
His dead body was located behind Dharmapuri Arts College, four kilometers from Dharmapuri railway station. Police plan to send the letter for forensic analysis to verify genuineness of the document that was recovered from the the kin of Illavarasnman, who pocketed the letter. On the basis of the suicide note, police have come to the conclusion that Illavarasan, had committed suicide.
