IAS officer still missing

IAS officer Naveen Jain who went missing from outside a restaurant on the Jaipur-Delhi national highway on Tuesday morning is still missing.

Police is clueless about the whereabouts of Jain, Commissioner, Settlement Department, who was posted here.

"Our teams are camping in Haryana, New Delhi and some other areas in search of Jain.

There is no vital information about his whereabouts," Additional SP, Alwar, Sangram Singh said.

According to Jain's wife Sunita, he was disturbed due to a recent controversy over the allotment of government accommodation after he was transferred to Jaipur from Baran.

Jain, along with his wife and son, was on way to New Delhi from Jaipur when they halted at a restaurant in Shahjahanpur area in Alwar district on Tuesday morning. From there he disappeared and a note for his family was found in their car.
