I-T raids on 2 top actresses

Income-tax officials raided the residences and offices of top Bollywood actresses Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra in Mumbai all through Monday. Sources said they were investigating the actresses’ offshore incomes over the past two years and also suspected the two had taken some payments in cash.

The raids started around 7.30 am on Monday. Ten teams simultaneously raided over 12 premises at Yari Road, Juhu, Bandra and Lokhandwala Complex are-as, including the offices of the actresses’ assistants and event management companies. The raids will continue on Tuesday as well, sources said.
