HRD ministry citizen’s charter out
The Union human resources development ministry’s higher education department has unveiled its citizen’s charter and set a time frame for service delivery and put in place redressal mechanism against delays.
Under the charter the department has fixed a time line of 25 working days (excellent rating) for release of funds and anything above 35 days to come in the poor rating category.
Similarly the registration of copyright process has to be finished by government officials within 15 days for an excellent rating and anything above 25 days is considered po-or.
Sources stated that the charter aims to put in place effective time frame for completion of processes related to the ministry and also provides for a grievance redressal mechanism by appointing a public grievance officer.
Two officers S. Radha Chauhan and R.C. Meena have also been appointed to handle public grievances.
