God was with us, says Jagan’s wife
Hyderabad: About the ordeal of these last months, Bharati Reddy, wife of YSRC chief Jagan Mohan Reddy said, “Whenever we met him in jail, he always looked strong. This kept us going and helped us remain strong too. We don’t know whether he had any weak moments. God was with us and we kept going.”
Hailing it as a ‘Feast Day’, Y.S. Vijayalakshmi said, “He was in jail for almost 16 months. We had been suffering since the death of Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy. This has been our biggest joy in four years.”
“Maa Anandaniki Anthuledu (there is no end to our happiness),” she said, adding, When my husband was alive we didn’t face any problem. He was there to take care of everything.
But we have been fighting conspiracies these last four years. Now the good news is that Jagan is coming out of jail. In the absence of Jagan, God gave us strength. YSR was the role model for the entire nation. After his death my son Jagan was kept in jail by foisting false cases.
With his release now we are hoping that good things will happen to the family, party and the state.” She also thanked the people, party leaders and workers for standing by the family.
Jagan’s sister Y.S. Sharmila too expressed her happiness and thanked God.
