Ghanaian arrested with cocaine in Goa
A Ghanaian national was arrested in Goa with cocaine worth Rs.2.1 million, police said on Saturday.
Anti-narcotics cell Superintendent of Police Vaman Tari said over 200 gram of refined cocaine was seized from Abed Macaulay Manteaw, 45.
"He had come to deliver the consignment near Saligao church when we arrested him. We had a tip from a source about the delivery," Tari said.
"This is the biggest haul of cocaine yet (in Goa)," Tari said.
